It’s one of our favorite places near Orlando besides the theme parks.

For Lunch
Celebration Town Tavern
Celebration Town Tavern is a beloved local restaurant that offers an unforgettable lunch experience.
You’ll instantly feel like part of the community with its warm and inviting atmosphere.
The owners, originally from the Boston area, offer a diverse menu but also keep the New England vibe alive with menu items such as burgahs, lobster rolls, and clam chowdah.
The cozy tavern continues to be a fan favorite for both residents and visitors alike.
Upper Crust
What better way to satisfy your taste buds than with a delicious slice of heaven? Oh, sorry, I meant pizza!
Upper Crust, another spot you’ll find right in the heart of downtown Celebration FL, offers delicious New York-style pizza by the slice or whole pie.
We’ve ordered both and haven’t been disappointed yet.
While pizza is definitely the star at Upper Crust, they offer much more than just pies.
Indulge in appetizers like garlic knots or buffalo wings before diving into a hearty wrap or savory calzone filled with gooey cheeses and premium fillings.
Upper Crust is a great budget-friendly option for a meal in town.
For Drinks
Lakeside Bar and Grill
Inside the boutique Celebration Hotel, you’ll find Lakeside Bar and Grill, an upscale eatery with views of the quaint lake.
Open from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm, time your visit right and you might just catch live music out on the outdoor terrace while enjoying your drink.
Imperium Food & Wine
Imperium Food and Wine Shop is a contemporary restaurant and wine bar located on the main strip of Celebration.
They offer an extensive wine list of over 80 wines by the glass as well as some craft beer options so it’s a perfect spot to grab a drink and relax.
They also serve creative cuisines such as cheeseburger flatbread and special charcuterie plates to pair with your drinks.
On certain nights (check Facebook), you can find favorite local entertainers playing adding to their already lively atmosphere.
Take advantage of their happy hour from 11 am – 5 pm Monday – Thursday, with $2 off all beer, glass wine, and select appetizers.
For Dinner
Columbia Restaurant
Columbia Restaurant is a Florida-based chain (with only seven locations) but is still authentic to the core and exceeds expectations on the quality of food and service.
Start your meal with Ybor City Devil Crab Croquettes, two heavenly fried balls of fresh blue crab mixed with paprika and garlic crisped to perfection with Cuban bread crumbs.
Then, order one of the most popular items on the menu – the half Original Cuban Sandwich and half Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®. Freshly baked Tampa Cuban bread is panini-pressed with baked ham, Genoa salami, mojo-marinated roast pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard.
Another fantastic option is the El Combo de Cuba, a big sample platter with ample portions of a few classics on the menu.
This is my favorite dish that I order every visit. All the meat on the El Combo is so tender there’s no need for a knife.
The succulent pork loin is marinated in a savory garlic sauce and the boliche, roasted beef, is stuffed with chorizo and served in a light flavorful gravy. Then there’s the Empanada de Picadillo, one of the best empanadas I’ve ever had.
And it’s all on top of a hefty portion of black beans, yellow rice, and yuca topped with a garlic mix. Save the two glazed plantains for dessert or if you have room, order the White Chocolate Bread Pudding.
Columbia is one of the best downtown Celebration restaurants for a truly memorable dinner.
